A very good day to all my viewers! Im back from a exhilarating trip @ Indonesia, Batam!!! *sigh* These 3 days overseas has been very exciting! I went to a lot of interesting places such as a orphanage, hospital , etc!

The most memorable place I visited was the orphanage! When we went to the orphanage, we were told to wait for a while as we were rather early .. The orphans were still having their lessons! We went to a 2nd level hall then. The pricipal welcomed us with a long talk that I didnt even understand bcos he was talking in Bahasa Melayu ... Well , as far as I remember , I think he did translate his talk to English ...

Well, all I know is , he talked alot! Anyway, there was a series of performances from our school , such as singing in different languages, the traditional indian dance & many more ... After the amazing performances, the orphanage decided to sing us a song that I didnt even understand a single word ...

Anyway, the song was okay .. We then split into groups and started to teach them how to do origami. We started to teach them how to do stars... We were quite shy @ first ... Then I "picked up " my courage & approached some of the boys ... ( Bcos my whole group was filled with boys)

Well... It was quite fun teaching them .. I didnt really expect them to understand what I was trying to say ... LOL ...

Lets move on to talking about day 1 ...

Day 1, I was actually late! All thanks to the stoopid taxis that didnt wann to fetch us ... Anyway, when I reached school , I realised that everyone was taking luggage with them! Only mii , was carrying a 4 kg bag & carrier ... Gosh... I feel abit out siah ... Told you so , grandma!

Anyway, I sat with Siti on the bus for da whole trip! ... There was alot of admin stuff to do when we were @ the ferry terminal ...
>>> Fast forward to later part of the day >>>

Lunch wa great ... Had alot of fun ... My group B was the most noisy group as that Bala was real irritating ... Mr Chin even said he would try to stuff something round in Bala's mouth if he continued talking non-stop ... Hahas ...

After lunch, we went to somewhere called Greenway something for team-building games ... My group was called " The German Shepherds " .. It was quite cool ... Of cos, Bala was the group Leader ... -.-lll ... The games we played were the spider web, crossing the river , moving the bomb & Treasure Hunt !~ The most memorable game was the "Treasure Hunt"!!! Bcos on one occasion where the group was stuck bcos we found the last treasure ( No. 6) without finding the treasure No. 5 ... Well, when the guide was saying this, curious mii went to check out a palm tree that had a string on it . I wanted to check it out at first, but when someone shouted that they had found the "treasure" , I just ignored it abit. Now, I walked up to it , telling myself that whatever it is, at leat I tried . Well, my small effort really paid off... I really found the yet found treasure!~ :D I shouted for everyone's attention ... Well, it was alttle awkward then ... Anyway, I was real proud of myelf for finding that little piece of treasure ... :D Oh, I forgot to day there was another game where we were suppose to fill in a water tank that contained alot of holes... We had to get the ping pong ball out of tank and in order to do that, we had to fill in water ... Erm.. A series of running with funn & empty buckets was for mii ... My jeans were half-wet!~ Arghs ... @ night, those stoopid teachers' didnt allow us to go to our rooms straight away!~ We had to do our reflections & rehearse for the next day's visit to the orphanage! So unfair! ... But luckily, I did nothing but sit there and watch ... Hahas... After the tiring rehearsal, we finally could go up to our rooms! *sigh* I didnt even remember to write my diary for the first day! Aaaawww ...

Day 2 , we were told to wear our FULL Uniforms ... So bad ... We visited the Red Cross HQ of Batam . As the place was real tiny, the founder brought us to her own hospital. There, was a series of talks & discussions about what they did there at Palang Merah ... How different it was indeed! During the talks ... Erm ... I sorta fell asleep ... I think it was bcos I didnt get a good night's sleep last night as that Hui Juan was scared & missed her family & stuff ... Wad a letdown she was ...

Anyway, as we were going to the orphanage next, we were allowed to change into our homeclothes !~ Cool eh? I loved that part. I wore a black shirt won from Rednano.com & black trackpants ... I just loved my look . (: ~ Details of the visit to orphanage in front~ And I finally remembered to write my diary ... :D

Day 3, we woke up bright early to pack our things . I also took some photos of the hotel room . I just forgot to take photos of the bathroom as it was in quite a mess... Gosh... The most interesting thing was that, a preety rainbow appeared infront of our hotel room window! How cool is that? ... I was rather sad to leave Batam as I felt that I spent loads of meaningful time here ... (: ... Anyway , breakfast was having a bouqfet, as usual ... Loved it sometimes... I was glad there was no pineapple as I still remember the "sour pineapple" that Bala created on Day 1, where he dropped the pineapple slice into the sweet & sour fish dish when he was about to take it & eat .... OMG ... LOL ... :D

We went to a local school called ' Harmoni ' ... It was a rare experience visiting students from overseas at our same age ... Both schools performed for each other ... How nice (: ... But I felt that their school had much more unity than Bartley... I cud tell the diff. as they sang their national song much louder than ours ... Anyway, there was this girl who was rather preety & mii & Keerthi took a pic with her ... (:

After that, we split into groups to go to diff. classes ... Me , Keerthi , Janani & Neela were in one group & we went into a Sec 3 classroom ... The teacher had a very strange accent that I didnt even understand what he was talking about ... He kept "joking" and making the Indonesian students laugh ... LOL ... I seriously did not understand a single proper English word he was talking about ... -.-lll

Anyway, we were picked up byour teachers in a flash and we set off to go to ..... The Mega Mall!!! Woohoo!!!~ I loved the sound of it ... Although Keerthi said that she had been there before and the things there were no difference from the normal souveniers, I still believed that it was something worth waiting for ...

>>> Fasting Forward>>>

I first went to shop with my Room 804 pals .. But one of my roomies, Jie Yi, just seemed to go her own way and make mii & Hui Juan follow her ... *sigh* We went on a wild goose chase with her just to help her find the ' Sari Wangi ' that she wanted for herself ... =.=lll

Anyway, afterwards, when we went searching for things to buy on the first floor, we saw Mr Darren Chin , walking endlessly around ... He said he couldnt find Bala , and could only find his group's only member on that floor , ME ... LOL ... Jie Yi then called him a " Gu Dan Lao Ren" ...
Hahas ... He was actually looking for Bala ...

We decided to shop with him but somehow walked away and see him continue to search for Bala ... =.=lll Hahas... I spotted a real cute & cool looking wallet from Coach ... It cost 50k Rupiah!~ But it was worth it ... The one I bought was green in colour ... Jie Yi bought the pink colour one ... :P

Anyway, half-way shopping, I quit tagging with room 804 & went on with Keerthi, Janani & Neela ... Erm .. We did some serious shopping in the shop named " Naughty" ... I went in with Jie Yi & the others at first ... Anyway, I bought most of my souveniers in there ... A real fun time I had shopping in the shop ... :D

*sigh* After all that , we went to JCO's Doughnut & Coffee Shop where most of our RCY cadets were gathered there ... Hungry mii decided to buy some doughnuts ... Siti offered to buy 3 -3 each as she did not have enough to buy & she was abit hungry ...

Anyway, I ate and found it quite appetising ... Well , after eating two .. I decided to buy half a dozen more for my family... (: ... Hehe ... 2 Sugar-coating , 2 Mango-Splitz & 2 Whiteberry ... :D

Muhahahaha .... It was time to go ... Not long after I bought my doughnuts ...

*sigh* I still miss the wonderful memories that I had been through during this 3 days 2 nights overseas trip .... :D
